Shopkins Happy Places is a popular toy brand created by Moose Toys, featuring small open doll houses, furniture with cute little faces and Shoppies, which are the dolls that complete the entire set. With this licence, I created the design for the digitised version of a few of the playsets, where users enjoy what is a Tamagotchi-style game blended with a doll house simulation and more.
The features I designed for this game included decorating an interactive doll house, taking care of a Shoppie who always challenges the user with unique needs and style specific room makeovers. A progress bar, which allows users to build up points and attain surprise delivery boxes full of new furniture or even a new house in a different street. Users can also unlock new Shoppies that all play and interact with one another. These cute moments are also documented through snapshots, which can be saved to a device or shared with friends and family. With daily bonuses and in-app purchases, users will always stay entertained with hundreds of new items and challenges to complete.
