Dobble was a game I designed for McDonald’s. Unlike a regular mobile game, this game uses the Kinect and projects the game onto a tabletop/floor, making a regular surface in McDonald’s interactive and fun! Magic Table games range from 1-6 players, and 1-8 players can play Magic Floor games!
A 6-symbol Dobble card rotates in the centre of the screen. Around the card, there are six buttons with symbols. The aim of the game is to match one of the symbols on the buttons to one of the symbols on the Dobble card. Each card has a 10-second timer. After the timer is up, a new card is revealed. However, the card is immediately renewed alongside all six buttons if the team makes a successful match. The team can see their score in the corner of the screen. Once the 60-second timer is up, the game ends, and the team is shown their score.
